Open Call for Video Submissions
In a continuous effort to support artists, connect with creatives, and facilitate artistic exchange, we're inviting videographers worldwide to submit their videos for screening at our Portugal retreat in October.
Who can enter?
The call is open to all female-identifying individuals. Aspiring filmmakers or established video artists alike, individuals, duos and collectives: we’d love to see your creative process and thoughts on screen and share them with our community.
The call allows for only one submission per artist. The selected applicant will receive 200€ for their original content and creative work.
What we’re looking for
There is no specific theme for this call. We welcome all films under 25 minutes including experimental films, both sound and silent motion pictures, performance documentation, video poetry, etc.
Ultimately, we are looking for work that sparks interesting conversations. While we are open to non-English submissions, we ask that they come with English subtitles. We encourage submitted works to have open captions and/or an audio description.
Submission is free and open from now until August 15th; the selected artist will be notified by September. Good luck!
